![]() There are a few things worth mentioning about what I do in the planning view in the video:.In the planning screens for each mission, after loading my plan, I also clicked through each team member to show what equipment they had, and panned around in the planning view to show where all the waypoints were. All HUD features were enabled except for Display Waypoint Info.Animated Geometry, Hide Dead Bodies and Low Detail Smoke Grenade were all off, and all other graphics settings were set to High. All in-game sound volumes were maximized, and Sound Quality set to High, however I turned off Virtualization and 3D Audio.Always Run was on, and Auto-Aim was off.(This has been the most recent version for a long time.) Because of this, I have played the whole game at 640-by-480 in windowed mode in order to catch each level's in-game footage with the corresponding mission debrief screen in one clip. This seems to let Fraps record across game-menu transitions (or crash if the in-game resolution is different from the menu resolution). To activate windowed mode, one can use the command "togglefullscreen" after the game has loaded, or switch applications while Raven Shield is launching (This is what I did, and it works for no apparent reason, haha.). ![]() This causes Fraps to stop recording when such a transition takes place (even if the resolutions are the same) UNLESS the game is running in windowed mode. Raven Shield seems to throw loads of Direct 3D switch resolution calls when changing between the game menus and the in-game display, even if the resolutions in both are the same. ![]()
